MACBATH
a splashing adaptation of
a dried up old text.
coming soon to a pool day playdate near you.
MACBATH. It’s one-person devised adaptation of Macbeth. It’s in a bathtub. It’s in a kiddie pool. It’s in a dunk tank. All the characters are bath toys. (Lady Macbeth is a giant sharkie. She’s fabulous). It’s death. It’s murder. It’s Macbeth’s life and it’s mine. It’s lying to all of your friends. It’s power. It’s killing relationships. It’s water. So much water. Did I mention the dunk tank?
It’s flooded with audience play and participation. It’s got a splash zone. It’s not in verse until it is. And, it’s under 50 minutes.

My artistic focus is creating temporal plays that can never be performed again. They are often messy and sometimes in an intentionally inconvenient space. I’m currently hooked on working with water.
